PARENTS SURVEY--PLEASE TAKE!

We are again partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research and analytics company, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning.  We are reaching out to ask you to take part in our school questionnaire.  Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives.  This will be done through a comprehensive framework called CASE that looks at the Classroom factors, Access to technology, teacher and student Skills and Environmental factors.  We will be asking for your input twice per year.  This information was used to help us support our students and teachers in technology integration.  As was the case the previous three years, we will be conducting the survey two times each year.

Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school choose the right technology for their classrooms. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

The last day to complete this questionnaire is November 2nd.   Please click on the brightBytes button on the left to start the questionnaire.

Thank you for taking part in this important initiative!

WHAT ARE LNES STUDENTS THANKFUL FOR THIS THANKSGIVING SEASON?

1/3

Children’s author Jerry Pallotta will be visiting our school to share his experience as a writer with our students on November 15th.  Mr. Pallotta is the author of more than 20 alphabets books, over 20 math books, and the Who Would Win? series. Our students will begin learning about informational writing in November, so this author visit will be the perfect time for our students to learn how authors conduct research for informative writing. Although he writes a lot of nonfiction books, Mr. Pallotta will inspire students with the creative twists he puts on some of his informational books.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
